Past Specialized Health Care Projects:

2023 Polyclinic Set-up: The Wood Buffalo 2023 Arctic Winter Games includes athletes from the Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, Alaska, Greenland, Nunavik (Northern Quebec), Northern Alberta and the Indigenous people (Sami) of Norway, Sweden and Finland. Medical oversite was required to assist with the influx of athletes and risk associated with competitive sports. The Polyclinic was set up at the Athabasca Civeo Lodge 45 minutes North of Fort McMurray. This lodge also housed 1793 contingents and work staff. Medika North Inc was the selected medical provider for the Operations/staffing of the Polyclinic.
