Robyn Villebrun

RN, BscN, OHNC; President
Robyn is a local First Nation Female Entrepreneur of Treaty 8. She is the President of Medika North and owns and operates Fort McMurray’s only Bed & Breakfast, The Chez Dube YMM; a historic property that has been in the community for over 27 years! Robyn Villebrun an Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation Member and local to the RMWB is a Baccalaureate Degree Registered Nurse from the University of Alberta, and a Certified Occupational Health Nurse from MacEwan University. Robyn is from the communities of Fort Smith NWT & Fort Chipewyan, Alberta – currently residing in Fort McMurray Alberta.
Raised traditionally by her grandparents, Robyn comes with traditional values and aligning them with western values – she states this brings a sense of balance of who she is and how her company operates successfully

Krishna Modha

CPA Finance Manager
Krishna is a skilled corporate accountant focused on financial management and reporting for Medika. She oversees daily accounting operations for the Edmonton and Fort McMurray locations, managing budgeting, financial analysis, and compliance. Known for optimizing processes, enhancing cost efficiency, and implementing controls to protect assets, Krishna also develops strategies to address financial challenges and mitigate risks. Collaborating with senior management, she ensures the effective management of key assets while providing insights to support decision-making. Her commitment to financial transparency and efficiency strengthens Medika’s financial stability and growth, enabling the delivery of high-quality healthcare solutions to the communities we serve.

Laura Sharpe

LM, LB; Operations Manager

Laura is an accomplished operations manager with extensive experience in overseeing and supporting clinical operations in both Fort McMurray and Edmonton. Known for her tactful approach, Laura excels in providing consultation, negotiation, and mediation services to clients and customers of the clinics and projects.  She leads operational meetings, fostering collaboration among project staff, clients, and subcontractors, while optimizing job scheduling and resource allocation through effective short-term and long-term planning. In addition to her operational responsibilities, she assists the President with business development initiatives, including the preparation of bid packages. With a blend of operational expertise, leadership skills, and a focus on compliance and efficiency, Laura plays a pivotal role in advancing the success of the clinics and their services.

Jackie Tuscano

COHT, Clinic Lead
Jackie serves as the Clinic Lead at Medika North, where she oversees daily operations across multiple locations, including Fort McMurray, Edmonton, and the National Testing Network. With a commitment to delivering timely and accurate results, she maintains the highest standards of quality in service delivery. Jackie efficiently allocates daily testing schedules and collaborates with clinics nationwide to ensure streamlined operations.
In her role as Designated Employee Representative, Jackie fosters a positive work environment and supports the well-being of staff, emphasizing the importance of a supportive culture. She expertly manages client relationships, ensuring seamless coordination across various locations.
Jackie is also a dedicated advocate for training and development; as a Train-The-Trainer, she empowers staff to excel in their roles through effective training programs. A seasoned Occupational Health Technician, Jackie has been an integral part of Medika North since its inception in 2017. Her diverse roles within the company have established her as a vital asset to daily operations, contributing significantly to the organization’s success.

Tiffany Flett

Mental Health & Addictions Specialist

Tiffany is a proud member of the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation. She was born in Fort McMurray and has resided in the Wood Buffalo Area for most of her life. She has obtained her Diploma with honors in Addiction & Mental Health from Sundance College and certified in Trauma Informed Care; Since then has been an active role model and advocate for Indigenous community. She brings extensive background knowledge in Mental Health to Medika North. Working closely with our Substance Abuse Experts (SAE/SAP team) Tiffany creates a safe place for our clients to find their voice, and share their challenges. She believes in our cause and being able to create effective and positive futures.

Steven Mandoli

I.T. Services
Steve brings a diverse background to our team including experience with technology, human resources, communications, administration, and advisory roles. He has been instrumental in helping implement a number of innovative internal processes and systems for Medika North that continue to support our initiative of digital solutions that keep costs low and efficiency high. Steve’s leadership in this area is bolstered by his willingness to support the team as a whole in any way possible.

Michael Birch

Director of Contacts
As Director of Contracts, Michael applies a wealth of knowledge to all contracts and agreements by managing and setting realistic expectations and milestones. He brings a strong background in contract management and administration including review, negotiation, drafting, and interpretation, with specific expertise in industrial & Health contract law. This expertise allows him to clearly communicate any and all change directives, change orders, and amending agreements in conjunction with the principles of contract law to all key stakeholders, conveying legal requirements in accessible language. In addition to hands-on preparation and drafting of documents, contracts, and policies, Michael provides data-driven recommendations to the executive team. He acts as a single point of contact for vendors, partners, clients, subcontractors, and any other parties concerning contractual matters, liaising between parties for improved overall contract management and dispute resolution.

Bryan Ashcroft

CPA; VP of Finance
As an experienced financial executive with a demonstrated track record of highly effective systems conversions, Bryan has consistently led our company toward fiscal responsibility, increased capacity, and improved profitability. Bryan understands the immense value of process integrations in maintaining organizational agility. He has produced complex integrations between business processes and financial management systems..
